Changes take place in Aurora Elementary PTO; Gonzalez returns to classroom

The following items are reprinted from the News from Miller and Craddock Schools newsletter.

Terri Krafcik is now the Elementary PTO president and Julie Morris is vice president at Leighton.

Craddock's students and staff welcomes back Jessika Gonzalez to her first-grade classroom. Ashley Grube was guest teacher during her absence.

The deadline for ordering yearbooks for Miller and Craddock schools is Feb. 28. Order forms should be returned to one of the schools. Cost is $11 and checks should be written to Ripcho Studio.

Local residents still have time to sign up for Heinen's ABC donation program. Heinen's will donate up to 1 percent of qualified purchases from any customer who has selected the local schools. Visit www.heinensrewards.com for details.

Leighton, Craddock and Miller school's out family fun day will be Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at Chagrin Roller Rink, 7151 S. Chagrin Road, Chagrin Falls. A donation of food or personal hygiene items will be accepted, plus skate rental is $4.

Thanks go to the Craddock PTO Sunshine Committee for a recent lunch, Miller families for participating in the annual family fun night and Miller staffers for supporting the family fun night.

Valentine's Day parties will be Feb. 13 at all three elementary schools. There will be no classes Feb. 14 and 17.
