The following items are reprinted from the News from Miller and Craddock Schools newsletter.

Miller School family fun night is scheduled for Jan. 23 at 7 p.m., when bingo will be the main activity. Participants should take pennies to use as markers, and they then can be donated to the Relay For Life team. Proceeds from a bake sale also will go to Relay For Life.

PTO Market Day orders are due by Jan. 31, with pickup on Feb. 5 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Leighton School. December's sale resulted in $270 raised by the PTO.

The Kickoff to Kindergarten meeting for parents of this fall's kindergartners will be Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Miller. Information is available at www.aurora-schools.org.

Craddock parents are reminded that students will participate in sled riding activities during physical education classes on days when snow is present. To participate, students must wear a hat, gloves, coat and snow pants or wind pants to slip over their regular pants.

Parents are reminded that with the second semester having started Jan. 21, school supplies should be replenished, including pencils, glue and crayons.

Thanks go to Julie Vlach and Brandi Geyer for help in clipping and organizing the boxtops for the recent Boxtops for Education collection. Report cards will be distributed Jan. 24.
