Families with students at Miller School donated $1,918 to Jump Rope for Heart in recent weeks. Benjy Nemet was the top individual fundraiser with $350 collected.

Craddock students recently were excited to use the new orange iPads, which were a gift from the Elementary PTO. The organization provides technology upgrades, field trips and assemblies for the students.

Craddock second-graders recently were visited by some people of Native American heritage, who discussed their culture.

The fall boxtop collection contest ended Dec. 6. Those students who turned in boxtops will have a chance to win a raffle for prizes. Thanks to the public for supporting the program.

Portage County picked up Giving Tree gifts on Dec. 9. The community is thanked for providing gifts. Craddock's holiday shop continues until Dec. 13. Parents should be sure to indicate who their child is shopping for and how much they can spend on each person. Checks should be made out to Aurora Elementary PTO.

Care with Coats is under way, and new and used coats can be dropped out in Craddock's lobby. The coats will be dry-cleaned if necessary and distributed to needy Portage County families.
