The following items are reprinted from the News from Miller and Craddock Schools newsletter.
Miller School is planning for its 2013-14 kindergarten class, whose members will graduate in 2026.
A kickoff to kindergarten will take place Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. the session for parents of next year's kindergartners will outline the program and procedures for registration. Parents will receive a registration folder and how to complete forms.
Registration will take place in March. In Aurora schools, a child who is 5 years old by Sept. 30 is eligible for kindergarten.

A cosmic roller skating party for students and families of Miller, Craddock and Leighton schools will be Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at Chagrin Roller Rink on South chagrin Road in Chagrin Falls.
There is no school that day. Admission is a non-perishable food item for each person. Skate rental is available for $3. Participants should take a flashlight or purchase one at the rink.
Parents are reminded during the winter to send their children to school with a hat or two, gloves, boots, snow pants, a scarf and extra socks so that children can go outside during recess or during physical education classes.
Other coming events are: Jan. 17 -- end of second grading period; Jan. 18 and 21 -- no classes for students; Jan. 24 -- report cards distributed and Miller family fun night.
