Work campers to talk
Several youths and adults from the Church in Aurora will give testimonials about this year's work camp experiences at the 10 a.m. service July 27.
Church members John and Marge Wolf are to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary July 23.
The VOA food pantry needs canned meats and meals, noodles, jelly, cake mixes and frosting this month.
Circle 3H will meet Aug. 1 to assemble backpacks for school students. Donations of items can be placed in the container in the Great Hall. For details, call Diane Brubaker at 330-562-6935 or Barb Thayer at 330-995-6109.
Anyone interested in participating in work camp in 2015 should contact the Eavensons. Trips will be June 21-27 to Mifflintown, Pa. and July 5-11 to Cedar Gove, W.Va.
A memorial service for Bob Williams will be Aug. 8 at 3 p.m. at the church.
New OLPH members
Recent new members at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church are Eleanor Harmacek, Dianna Herbold, John Brogan family and Julie and Josh Sobel and family.
The next Sacrament of Reconciliation will be Aug. 2 at 3:30 p.m. The fair trace/equal exchange sale continues July 27 and Aug. 10 and 24 after Masses in the narthex.
PSR packets for 2014-15 are available in the narthex for past participants. Families new to the parish will have packets mailed to their homes.

Picnic set at the AUM
Casual Sunday will be observed July 27 at Aurora United Methodist Church. Shorts, sandals, jeans and T-shirts are welcome. A church picnic will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the southern end of Sunny Lake.
Men's ministry family night will be Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. for a Lake Erie Captains games at Classic Park in Eastlake. Reservations are due with payments by Aug. 3 to Randy Adams.
