Garage burglary: A Poplar Court woman reported Aug. 20 that someone entered her garage during the night and entered the unlocked cars parked inside. She said a wallet was taken from one car and a purse from another. No value of the loss was given.

Vehicles entered: An Aspen Court man reported Aug. 21 that his unlocked vehicle was entered while parked outside overnight, but nothing appeared to be missing. A Beech Court woman reported Aug. 20 that her unlocked vehicle parked outside her residence was entered overnight, and a wallet containing driver's license and credit cards was taken. A fraudulent charge in the amount of $116 was made with one of the cards. Also that day, a South Pine Court man reported his unlocked vehicle parked outside his residence was entered and miscellaneous items were taken, including a wallet with credit cards. Three fraudulent charges in the amount of $874 were made with the cards.

Menacing: An Aurora man was charged with aggravated menacing Aug. 16 after allegedly making threats of violence at a Lake Avenue residence. He was taken to the Portage County Jail.

Vehicles damaged: A Sherwood Drive man reported Aug. 15 that he believes his garage was entered and someone scratched two vehicles inside. No value of the damage was given.

Loose dogs: A Robinhood Drive woman was cited for dogs at large Aug. 15 after neighbors reported her two dogs were running around the neighborhood while she was away from her residence.

Underaged drinking: An Aurora man was charged with underaged drinking of alcohol Aug. 12 after he was reportedly knocking on doors on New Hudson Road at 1:30 a.m. and asking for a ride home. He was released on bond.

Lot collision: A private property accident occurred Aug. 17 on South Chillicothe Road while a Hudson man and Twinsburg woman were backing out of parking spaces and collided. No injuries resulted.
