Warrant arrests: A Garfield Heights woman was picked up Aug. 1 in Brooklyn on a warrant for theft. She was transferred from Brooklyn police to Aurora and taken to the Portage County Jail. An Aurora man was arrested Aug. 9 in the city on a warrant for domestic violence, obstructing official business and criminal damaging. He was taken to the Portage County Jail.

Harassment: A Streetsboro man reported Aug. 6 his estranged wife is constantly calling his place of employment in Aurora. Police contacted the woman and asked her to cease all contact or charges of telecommunication harassment would be filed.

Juvenile complaint: A Kingston Drive resident reported Aug. 8 three juveniles were riding 2-wheelers in the road. The subjects were gone when an officer arrived.

Noise complaint: An Eggleston Road resident reported Aug. 6 that a car drives past her house frequently with its radio on so loud that it vibrates her house. An officer could not locate the vehicle.

TRAFFIC-RELATED CASES

DUI citations: An Aurora man was cited Aug. 13 with operating a vehicle under the influence on South Chillicothe Road. An Aurora man was cited Aug. 5 for driving under the influence on West Garfield Road. A Streetsboro woman was cited July 31 for driving under the influence at an unspecified location. All were released on personal bonds.

Truck blocks road: A person in Russet Woods reported Aug. 5 that a furniture delivery truck was blocking the road. An officer advised the driver, who moved the vehicle.
