In park after hours: After a report July 25 of cars at Sunny Lake Park at 10 p.m., an officer responded, informed the subjects of park hours and sent them on their way.

Noise complaint: An Orchard Avenue resident reported July 24 at 9:25 p.m. a group of juveniles was outside playing ball and screaming. When an officer arrived, the youths had gone inside for the evening.

Dog complaint: A Lloyd Avenue woman reported July 23 a neighbor's dog was coming onto her property and defecating.

Running vehicle in lot: Someone reported July 25 at 7:15 p.m. that there was an unoccupied vehicle in a parking lot on West Garfield. An employee of the business was notified and said he would take care of the situation.

TRAFFIC-RELATED CASES

DUI citation: A Streetsboro woman was charged with driving under the influence and left of center July 29 at 1:25 a.m. on South Aurora Road. She was released on bond.

DUI citation: A Streetsboro man was cited for driving under the influence and not driving in marked lanes July 25 at 10:05 p.m. on East Mennonite Road. He was taken to the Portage County Jail.

Car hits pole: No injuries resulted July 24 at 3:20 p.m. when an Aurora man baked out of a parking space in a West Garfield Road lot and struck a sign pole. Police estimated the damage to the sign and pole at $1,000.

Another DUI: A Ravenna woman was cited for driving under the influence and not maintaining control July 27 at 10:45 p.m. after police said her car left East Mennonite Road, slid on its side, uprighted itself and hit a guardrail. She was treated on the scene, booked at the police station and released on bond.
