Domestic violence, DUI: An Aurora woman was charged July 6 with domestic violence and driving under the influence after police said she assaulted four family members on Page Road. Two victims were evaluated by Aurora paramedics and refused to be taken to a medical facility. The woman was taken to the Portage County Jail.

Lost cell phone: A Streets-boro man reported July 7 that he lost his cell phone valued at $500 to $600 at an area business.

Fireworks warnings: On July 4 and 5, residents on Hampton Circle, Raleigh Court, the Aurora-Hudson-Oak Hollow roads area, Lloyd and Moneta avenues, Townline Road, Nautilus Trail, Beech Court, Yorkshire and Colony drives and the Lake Avenue-Pennsylvania Street area were warned about discharging fireworks.

Noise complaints: Residents reported July 4, 5 and 6 that parties were occurring on Fox Run Trail, North Park Drive, Greentree Circle, Surfside Circle and Blair Circle with loud music. Officers arrived and notified the residents of the complaints.

Animal incidents: A Meadowlark Circle woman reported July 5 an animal stuck in her downspout. A Greentree Circle man reported July 3 that a raccoon was in his yard lunging at him and his dog. The animal control contractor was summoned for removal.

Mailbox damaged: A South Chillicothe Road man reported July 3 his mailbox was damaged. No value was given.

Pump missing: A Duneden Dive man reported July 2 that after having his septic system service, it was discovered a pump had been removed by someone unknown. The value was $750.

Horses on road: A person reported July 6 that two horses were loose on Aurora-Hudson Road at South Bissell. An officer could not locate them.

4-wheeler complaint: A Greenview Drive resident reported July 6 that two 4-wheelers were riding down the road. An officer was unable to locate them.

Panhandler: Someone reported July 9 that a man was soliciting money at a North Chillicothe Road location. An officer instructed him not to return to the property.

Loud music: A Bryce Avenue resident reported July 8 that loud music was coming from a vehicle. An officer could not locate the culprit. On July 9, a person reported loud music coming from Sunny Lake Park. He was advised the group of people was done for the evening and was cleaning up to leave.

Suspicious vehicle: After a July 8 report of a suspicious vehicle on West Garfield Road, an officer discovered people were merely sitting inside it talking.

TRAFFIC-RELATED CASES

Lot crash: While exiting parking spaces in a North Chillicothe Road lot, an Aurora male juvenile and an Aurora woman collided on July 2. No injuries resulted.

Rear-end crash: A Chagrin Falls man was cited for assured clear distance July 5 after police said he struck a Richmond, Va. man's vehicle from behind at 3:30 p.m. on South Chillicothe Road and Kingston Drive. No injuries resulted.

Car hits post: Police said an Aurora man drove into an address post July 5 at about 7 p.m. on private property on Ravine Drive. No injuries resulted.

Lot crash: Police said a Moreland Hills woman backed up July 6 at 3:50 p.m. in a parking lot on Squires Road and struck a Twinsburg man's vehicle. No injuries resulted.

Lot crash: While exiting a North Aurora Road parking lot July 7 at 5:15 p.m., vehicles driven by a Chagrin Falls man and an Aurora male juvenile collided. No injuries resulted.

More lot crashes: While exiting parking space on Madison Avenue on July 3 at 12:30 p.m., an Aurora male juvenile and an Aurora woman collided. No injuries resulted. On July 7 at 5:15 p.m., a Chagrin Falls man and an Aurora male juvenile collided while exiting a North Aurora Road parking lot. No injuries resulted.

Reckless driver: A woman requested extra patrols July 8 in the Sherwood-Sussex drives area after she reported a vehicle almost hit her as she was walking her dog.
