Mailbox damage: A Chelmsford Drive resident reported Dec. 6 that his mailbox was damaged. Later, the homeowner was contacted by the person who caused the damage, who vowed to pay for repairs.

Lost phone: A person reported Dec. 10 that he lost his cell phone at a Barrington Town Square business. Its value was about $600.

Theft: A Holly Oak Lane resident reported Dec. 10 her outside Christmas projector was taken from her yard. Its value was about $400.

Suspicious vehicle: Someone reported a suspicious vehicle parked near the city's north water tank Dec. 4. An officer discovered it was a person doing work for the city.

Dead deer: Someone reported an injured deer along North Aurora Road Dec. 5. When an officer arrived, the animal was dead.

House concern: A Surfside Circle caller reported Dec. 7 a nearby house, which was vacant for over a month, had several lights on inside. An officer found new occupants had moved into the house.

Disorderly conduct: A Cuyahoga Falls man was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident on North Aurora Road. He was released on a personal bond.

Four-wheeler complaint: A Deepwoods Drive resident reported Dec. 9 that a neighbor was riding a four-wheeler on the complainant's property. An officer warned the suspect about trespassing.

Dead bird: An injured hawk was reported Dec. 9 along East Garfield Road. When an officer arrived, the bird was dead.

TRAFFIC-RELATED CASES

Failure to yield: A Twinsburg man was cited for failure to yield Dec. 10 after police said he pulled out of a driveway and struck an Aurora man's car on West Garfield Road. No injuries resulted.

Lot crash: Police said a Bedford woman backing out of a parking space Dec. 7 in a lot on South Chillicothe Road struck a Kent man's car. No injuries resulted.

Lot crash: Another crash occurred Dec. 6 in a lot at Barrington Town Square when an Aurora woman pulled out and struck a Chardon woman's car. No injuries resulted.

Rear-end crash: A Garrettsville female juvenile was cited for assured clear distance Dec. 5 after police said she struck a Streetsboro woman's car from behind at Route 43 and Greenbriar Drive. No injuries resulted.

One-car crash: A Streetsboro man was cited Dec. 5 for not keeping control after his vehicle cross a double yellow line on Route 306 at Barrington Boulevard, hit a fire hydrant and came to rest against a tree. He was treated by fire department paramedics.

Rear-end crash: No citation was issued Dec. 5 when a Peninsula woman struck an Aurora man's car from behind on West Garfield Road, scratching the Aurora man's bumper and causing no damage to the other car. No injuries resulted.

Rear-end crash: An Aurora man was cited for assured clear distance Dec. 5 after police said he struck a North Olmsted woman's car from behind on West Garfield Road. No injuries resulted.
