Phone missing: A Copley woman reported Jan. 2 that her cell phone was missing after she attended a New Year's Eve party on Stratford Court. Its value was $600.
Credit card fraud: A Streetsboro couple reported Jan. 2 that their debit card was missing and $996 worth of charges for items they didn't buy were made with it.
Warrant arrest: A Solon man was picked up on a warrant through Aurora police Jan. 4 for failing to appear in court for a DUI citation. He was released on bond.
Shoplifting: A Cleveland man was charged with theft Jan. 2 in connection with $210 worth of items taken from a South Chillicothe Road business.
Online order complaint: An East Homestead Drive man reported Jan. 8 that he paid for merchandise online but never received his items. He was advised to contact the online source for a refund.
Threat investigated: A Streetsboro woman reported Jan. 8 that she was threatened by her boyfriend's sister on North Aurora Road. Both women were warned after they gave conflicting reports.
Harassment: A Greentree Circle resident reported Jan. 8 receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown source. The number was traced and an officer informed the suspect to refrain from calling.
Warrant arrest: A Bedford woman was picked up Jan. 8 on a failure to appear in court warrant through Aurora police. She posted bond.
Menacing: An Aurora woman reported Jan. 8 that two other Aurora women threatened to come to her house to beat her up. An officer could not locate the suspects and police received no followup phone calls, as to whether the suspects showed up.
Doorbell prank: After a Hurd Road woman reported Jan. 7 someone rang her doorbell and ran away, an officer could not locate any suspects.
Dog attack: A Claridge Lane woman reported Jan. 7 she and her dog were attacked by the neighbor's dogs. She declined medical attention. The report did not say whether the other dog was injured.
Open door: A Lake Avenue woman reported Jan. 7 that the door to a shed in the back yard was open. An officer checked the area and found nothing out of the ordinary.
Dog concern: A person reported Jan. 6 that a dog ran out onto the ice at Sunny Lake Park. An officer responded and found the owner and the dog were on safe ground.
Dispute: Police investigated a verbal altercation between an estranged couple in the Geauga Lake area. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.
Lot collision: Police checked out an accident in a West Garfield Road parking lo in which an Aurora man backed out of a space and hit another Aurora man's vehicle. No injuries were reported.
