Color, Life and Nostalgia in Upcoming Art Exhibition

Fairmount Center for the Arts Published:

Novelty, OH – On Saturday, March 8 from 5-7pm, Fairmount Center for the Arts will hold a reception for the stunning work of local artist Lisa Eastman. Guests will enjoy hor d’ouerves, drinks, beautiful art and an artist talk, where the artist will discuss her process, her work and answer questions.

Eastman’s work in oil features scenes of large scale, elegant and powerful natural landscapes. The ephemeral effect of light and color intrigues the artist to explore a subject through a series of paintings. Her luminous landscapes are dreamy and inspiring. The viewer can’t help but be taken back to a place of nostalgia and wonder.

Lisa Eastman’s work will be on display at Fairmount Center Art Galleries, 8400 Fairmount Rd in Novelty, from February 15 to March 24. The reception and exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday –Thursday 9-7pm, Friday 9-3:30pm and Saturday 9-1pm. For more about the artist, visit www.lisaeastman.com.
