Complete survey about local mental health, addiction services

The Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County invites the community to provide input on service priorities for the board’s annual Community Plan by completing a short online survey.  Why is this important? The Community Plan outlines what the board sees as the mental health and addiction treatment problems facing the community. The plan also identifies the services that will work toward addressing those needs.

The Community Plan serves as a guide when the board is setting its annual budget, supporting ongoing programs, establishing new programs and applying for grants.

You can provide input on the priorities by completing a short survey at: The link will be available until Dec. 15, 2013.  The Community Plan, which is a public document, will be available Jan. 15, 2014 by emailing  or calling 330-673-1756, ext. 201, for a copy.

Your input helps the MHRB to know how the Portage community feels about the level of public treatment for mental illnesses and addictions. The results provide the best guide to improving services for Portage County’s adults and families.
